Our Mission
Extraordinary Laundry Service is a venture of Extraordinary Ventures, a non-profit founded by a group of families in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 2007 with the goal of creating sustainable businesses operated by a neurodiverse workforce.
For more than 15 years, our team has been working toward bettering our community and local economy by meeting consumer needs while simultaneously creating meaningful jobs for people of all abilities.
We operate a portfolio of approximately 6 ventures on a true business model, ranging from operating Chapel Hill’s premier event space, the Blue Hill Event Center, to pet walking services to creating high quality candles to providing high volume office solutions.
At Extraordinary Laundry, a diverse team of individuals manages the business, operates the pick up and drop off logistics, and washes, dries, and folds the laundry to the highest standards.
